NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition is this week at BYU. I wasn't contacted by the local chapter soon enough to get you all singing with this fun event but you have a whole year to look forward to your opportunity!
Remember that anytime you have an opportunity to perform, whether you want a part or an award, is a learning experience and PRACTICE for getting up in front of people! DO IT anytime you can!
Huff Competition at Payson High School is next Tuesday. If ya'll want a great learning experience please come. I will be adjudicating the vocal section. It's a mini recital/competition. You get to hear everyone perform and see who wins the awards. There's an award for each division (strings, voice, vocal ensemble, brass, piano....etc.) and an overall award.
